Join us for a calm and welcoming SEND-friendly Create Your Own Bear workshop at Oakenshaw Community Centre, Redditch.
Designed with smaller numbers and a relaxed approach, this session gives every child the opportunity to create their own special teddy bear at a pace that feels comfortable for them.
Each child will:
- Choose and stuff their own 16-inch teddy bear
- Add a special fabric heart
- Complete their bear’s birth certificate
- Take their finished bear home in a drawstring bag
There is no pressure to complete each stage at the same time. Children are welcome to move around, take breaks or watch before joining in.

- Introductory price: £19.99 per child
- Maximum of 8 children
- One accompanying parent or carer is required to remain throughout
- The centre has disabled access, an accessible toilet, a large car park and disabled parking bays
Booking your child’s place
Choose your child’s preferred bear colour, then enter their full name in the box provided.
The Additional Information/Requests box is optional. You can use it to share anything that may help your child feel comfortable and enjoy the workshop, such as communication preferences, sensory needs, accessibility requirements or anything they may find difficult. A diagnosis is not required.
If you are booking for more than one child, please add each place to your basket separately. This allows you to choose a bear colour and provide the correct information for each child.
A choice of golden, brown, pink or blue bears is available. Bear colours are subject to availability and reserved when booking.
Optional outfits and accessories will also be available to purchase on the day, with outfits starting from £7.99.
A visual guide will be emailed before the workshop to help children know what to expect, including information about the venue and each stage of the activity.
This session is SEND-friendly and open to all. A diagnosis is not required.
Places must be booked and paid for in advance. Each booking admits one participating child and one accompanying parent or carer.
Cancellation policy
Workshop bookings are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another child by contacting us before the workshop. If the workshop is cancelled by Dotty Moo, you will receive a full refund or may transfer your booking to another date.
